Laparoscopic Surgeries

Laparoscopic surgeries using the most advanced surgical techniques; They are often preferred during the surgical treatment of gynecological diseases. It is also possible to diagnose and treat gynecological diseases with the laparoscopy method, which shortens the recovery period of the patient, increases her comfort, reduces the risk of complications in the post-operative period and minimizes tissue damage.

Our patients can quickly return to their daily lives after our laparoscopic surgeries, which offer greater comfort to patients compared to open surgeries.

What are Gynecological Laparoscopic Operations?

Laparoscopic Hysterectomy: Laparoscopic hysterectomy, which is one of the most frequently performed operations in gynecology; It is the process of removing the uterus, the uterine organ. If necessary, the adnexa and ovaries can also be removed during laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Laparoscopic Myomectomy: Laparoscopic myoctomy operation can be applied to women whose quality of life has decreased and whose complaints have increased due to benign tumors in the uterus. Although not all fibroids can be removed by laparoscopic method, superior success can be achieved with laparoscopy in the treatment of fibroids growing outside the uterus (subserous fibroids) and growing inside the myometrium (intramural).

Laparoscopic Tubal Ligation: Pregnancy is prevented by ligating the fallopian tubes during tubal ligation, which stands out as an irreversible family planning method. Laparoscopic method is used for ligation of the fallopian tubes.

Opening of Laparoscopic Tubes: After the necessary examinations for the general health status of the patient and the fallopian tubes, the opening of the tubes within the scope of infertility treatment can be performed laparoscopically.

Laparoscopic Salpingectomy: Without intervention to the uterus and ovaries; The tubes are removed with the laparoscopic salpingectomy operation, which is performed when the tubes are severely swollen or the ends are blocked.

Laparoscopic Oophorectomy: The operation to remove one or both ovaries is called oophorectomy. The oophorectomy operation, which is among the gynecological surgeries that can be performed with the closed method, can be performed to reduce the risk of ovarian and breast cancer, as well as within the scope of ovarian rotation, ectopic pregnancy, uterine abscess, myoma treatments. Fallopian tubes can also be removed during laparoscopic oophorectomy performed alone or in combination with a hysterectomy operation.

Laparoscopic Adhesiolysis: The operation to open the intra-abdominal adhesions is called adhesiolysis. After laparoscopic adhesiolysis, less bleeding occurs, the patient recovers faster and the risk of infection is reduced.
