Perinoplasty – Birthmark Aesthetics

Perinoplasty – Birthmark Aesthetics

Perinoplasty Aesthetics

A bad appearance of birth stitches is a problem for many women. Correction of birth sutures and giving a more aesthetically pleasing appearance are also known as perineal aesthetics.

What is Perineum Aesthetics?

Perineum; it is the name of the genital area between the vagina and the anus. Generally, correction of birth sutures and making them more aesthetically correct is known as perineoplasty, i.e. perineal aesthetics. However, perineoplasty (perineal aesthetics) can be performed for those who have not given birth due to folds, skin excess and wrinkles between the vagina and anus called perineum.

Why are Perineal Birth Incisions Made?

During normal delivery, an incision is made with scissors on the right side of the place between the vagina and the anus, called the perineum, in order to ensure that the babys head is comfortable and to prevent irregular tears. This right perineal incision made to facilitate birth is called episiotomy incision, episiotomy incision or birth incision. Episiotomy scars that do not heal well after normal delivery or that are opened by infection later can cause many discomforts in women, both psychologically and physically.

Genital aesthetic correction of suture marks from normal birth, cleaning of the skin folds between the vagina and anus and giving this genital area an aesthetically pleasing appearance are called Perineoplasty (Perineal aesthetics).

Perineoplasty – Perineal aesthetics is most often performed simultaneously with vaginal tightening surgeries. In some cases, it can even be applied together with labiaplasty and clitoris aesthetic surgeries.

Why Do Birth Stitches Heal Badly?

The episio incision made just before the delivery of the baby should be well repaired after birth. Otherwise, scar tissue may remain as a result of poor wound healing in this region in the postpartum periods.

Home births are also common. In addition, the opening of the sutures by inflammation and the tearing of the baby while leaving the vaginal canal damages the perineum. Especially in difficult deliveries (the baby is larger than normal, the baby's head diameter is wider than normal, the vaginal entrance is narrow, the roof is narrow) birth slits are quite common.

If the birth stitch scars are not corrected, it can cause painful sexual intercourse.

Scar tissue that develops due to poor healing may cause pain (dyspareunia) during sexual intercourse. This situation can lead to sexual reluctance and dissatisfaction in couples over time. In addition, a vagina that has changed and looks bad after childbirth also paves the way for a lack of confidence in women, embarrassment from their partner and some psychological problems.

The operation to correct episio scars (let the scar touch) is called episio scarectomy. Episio scar removal operations can be performed alone or in combination with vaginal tightening operations (vaginoplasty operation).

How is Perineum Area Aesthetics Performed?

Anatomical correction of the perineum, cleaning of birth sutures, if any, and removal of skin folds (excess tissue) between the vagina and anus are within the scope of perineal aesthetics (Perineoplasty). Such operations are performed for cosmetic and functional purposes. While it makes the genital area look better aesthetically in terms of cosmetics, it also provides benefits in eliminating problems such as pain and suffering during sexual intercourse.

How to Removal of Birth Stitch Marks?

Suture scars from birth are called 'epizio scars'. Sometimes the suture marks here may be raised, and sometimes they may be collapsed. Removal of these poorly healed scars is called episio scarectomy. Episio scarectomy operation is generally performed under local anesthesia (with regional numbing) and takes about 30 minutes.

If the skin folds in the perineum are excessive in those who have not given birth normally, perineal aesthetic surgeries take between 30 and 45 minutes on average. Processing time varies according to the degree of the problem. Pain and bleeding after the operation is almost non-existent.

Patients who have the procedure can return to work in 3 days. Generally, after 1.5 months, sexual intercourse becomes free.

Perineal aesthetics is usually performed together with vaginal tightening.

Birthmark removal operations performed by us are mostly performed at the same time as vaginal tightening (vaginoplasty) operations. The results of perineoplasty surgeries are extremely pleasing.
